The Sheffield and Tinsley Canal

Along the 5 Weirs Way, across Attercliffe Cemetery and from there a short bit of road walking onto Sheffield canal and the route we follow leads us straight to Meadowhall, not far from the Transport Interchange.

It’s about 5.5/6mile in length and can be muddy in places.
This is a linear walk so you will have to make your own way home from Meadowhall. There are a variety of transport options (Train, Tram or Bus) available at Meadowhall Interchange to get you back to Sheffield or all the way back to Dronfield

There will be a couple of stops on the walk – one on the 5 Weirs and a longer one on the Sheffield canal so please bring a drink & a snack.
