Route Outline:
Ecclesall Woods, Dore village, Blackamoor Nature Reserve, Houndkirk Moor, Ringinglow, Limb Valley and Whirlow Park.
Walk Details:
A woodland walk into the village of Dore for a little history, through a nature reserve and on to high moorland with stunning views, before dropping down into woods and parkland.
2 low stiles, 1 steep climb, exposed tree roots in woodland, and open exposed moorland.
No toilets (but plenty of woodland!)
Bring snacks, sandwiches, hot drinks etc. as no refreshment places on the route until Whirlow cafe at the finish.
Approx finish time is 2pm
