Adopted Path Tidy Up
on Saturday 15th June The weather will NOT put us off….we will be there, 10am, near the Talbot on Barnes Lane…Bring gloves, shears, secateurs…and we will see you there! Summer Walking…
click on the link on the 2019 Summer walks programme page… There is to be an emergency closure of Unstone Footpath 17 between 11th June 2019 and 1st July 2019. This links the driveway past Siscar through the woods and across the field to meet the pathway from Hundall to Mill House.

Update on the Owl pellet
On the Stone Circle walk, we spotted an owl pellet. It was carefully dissected, and these were found!

Replacing a broken seat at Barlow ponds
As part of our aims, a couple of years back, Graham Gill, Peter Carr and I ventured to Barlow Ponds to replace the broken seat top, placed a dozen years ago in memory of Roy Kitson. The seat now has a nice new top, and overlooks the top pond… a regular stop on our walks out…

Cheque for Dronfield Hall Barn
Representatives from DFBS presented a cheque for £100 towards the maintenance of the Dronfield Round Walk, formerly the Dronfield Rotary Round Walk, which is now under the auspices of Dronfield Hall Barn.
