Pleasley and The Teversal Trail

INFORMATION ABOUT A DIVERSION TO GET TO THE MAIN CAR PARK

Meet at the MAIN car park (the one nearest Hardwick Hall) at 10.00am. This is free to park in. However, the main gate into Hardwick Hall will be closed (they’re repairing the cattle grids) so there will be a diversion to the main car park via the Rowthorne Gate. This means using Ault Hucknall Lane and Rowthorne Lane (both quite narrow)! Please allow extra time for your journey and follow the diversion signs after passing Stainsby Mill.

The walk length is about 7.5 miles if we do the full loop, but if the weather is bad we can shorten it by at least a mile. There will be a stop about an hour into the walk at Teversal Community Cafe – this has toilets and we will have a drink and snack here. The walk continues via Old Teversal and the Rowthorne trail back to Hardwick.  We will have a lunch stop on the Rowthorne trail, too.

Just for info, the toilets at Hardwick cafe are NOT free, unless you’re at NT member.
