Eighteen walkers met in the lower car park at Coal Aston Village Hall ready for a walk in the Moss Valley Woodlands. Pete, the walk leader, has done this walk a few times so the outward route through Nor Wood, Long Wood and Hazelbarrow farm was very familiar to most. The return leg via Newfield Spring Wood and Dowey Lumb was a little unusual in that the group go into Owler Car Wood and Cook Spring Wood rather than take the more obvious track back to the village hall via Owler Car Lane.
This was a very enjoyable walk held in good weather. Many thanks to all that attended.
Sorry the pictures are a bit scarce but the featured image does show the impressive sporting facilities close to the village hall.
