Foxhouse Inn, Houndkirk Road, Burbage Edge, Upper Padley, Longshaw, Granby Wood, Longshaw Estate, Grouse Inn, White Edge Lodge, Wooden Pole , Longshaw Estate returning to the Fox House Inn.
It is a moderate walk on good paths. There are some rough paths descending over Burbage Edge and in the Longshaw Estate when following the Burbage brook, there are some gates and at least two stiles. The area may have a few sheep and occasionally deer. There may be cattle near White Edge Lodge.

Here are some notes from the walk leader Joe following a recent recce.
Parking is just above Foxhouse ( N.T. members can use Longshaw and walk up) we walked up the hill bearing left up the wide rock strewn path and turned left down to the path below Burbage Edge coming out just down the hill from Foxhouse and crossing the road into Longshaw. We took the paths down to Padley Gorge crossing the road to Grindleford walking through the estate to cross the road to Froggat below the Grouse Inn. We then walked up to the White House to cross at the top of the same road to walk to the top end of Longshaw car park and return to the cars. One stile only, five road crossing points and no steep climb. Wonderful views, variety of birds and and a few cows!
