Lower Moss Valley Circular (23rd January 2024)

Owing to a poor forecast of rain and high winds just the six of us gathered in the Fox and Hounds car park at Marsh Lane for Phil’s walk.

At the half way stage of the walk we stopped at the Seldom Seen Engine House for our coffee break. The engine house was part of the old Plumbley Colliery and was built in the 1870s by colliery owner John Rhodes.

Many thanks to Phil for leading the walk.
