Eleven humans and four dogs met at the junction of Melbourne Avenue and Leabrook Road. Starting on the edge of the estate we were soon in the countryside, skirting Kitchen wood, crossing Cowley Lane and heading across fields to Cartledge. After a brief spell on Horsleygate Lane we emerged onto the main Holmesfield road. We then took the path running just outside the woods before entering the woods and working our way towards the main path. Here we stopped for a well earned coffee break.
The final stretch took us back to our start point via Pearson’s farm. Many thanks to Paula for leading this 4.3 mile walk and plotting a very enjoyable cow-free route.
