Whilst walking in the fields and woods behind Coal Aston I have often looked back towards the skyline on Eckington road. The thing that always catches my eye is a lone poplar tree. But where is it exactly I have pondered. The weeks, months and years have passed without me mustering the enthusiasm to actually find out. Well no longer. The tree is halfway up the Jennel that links The Ridgeway with Drury Lane – mystery solved.
